If you've never been to a church before it can be difficult to know what to expect. At Redeemer we understand that and want to do everything we can to make you feel welcome.

There's no dress code so wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We do our best to make sure we speak the same on a Sunday as we do throughout the rest of the week so there won't be a lot of jargon and if there is something you don't understand, just ask. During the gathering feel free to participate in as little or as much as you feel comfortable with. We have readings and prayers where people can join in, but probably the most unusual thing you'll encounter on a Sunday is that we sing songs together as a church. That said, if you don't know the song or agree with the words there's no pressure for you to join in.

We do understand that going to church for the first time can be strange but we want you to feel welcome. After all, churches are just groups of ordinary people coming together to consider, worship, learn about, and follow Jesus. So there will always be a place for you. Also, once the gathering has finished there's free tea, coffee, and donuts so you really can't go wrong!
