This blog gives you a glimpse into the upcoming Sunday Gathering. It's an opportunity to read through the passage we'll be studying together, pray through some of the liturgy we'll be using, and listen to a selection of the songs we’ll be singing

ROMANS - Dead to sin and alive in Christ

SERMON

This Sunday Gary Aston will be preaching to us from Romans 6:1-14, looking at what it means for us to be dead to sin and alive in Christ Jesus.

LITURGY

COMMITMENT READING

Thank you heavenly Father that through Jesus, we have been freed from our sin. Thank you that we are united with him in his death and raised to new life through his resurrection. Remind us that sin is no longer our master and help us to know a deeper reality of this truth. Amen

(Romans 6:14)

MUSIC

  • Come Ye Sinners (Sojourn): A song that sings of the invite given to us from God in Christ Jesus, to come to him in our sin and find salvation.

  • Made Alive (Citizens): A song that reminds us of the new life we now know in Christ. He has brought us from death to life through his blood.
