Our Sunday gatherings are at the heart of who we are as a church. It's where we come together - week in, week out - to worship God, hear from his word, pray together and encourage one another. We see our Sunday gatherings as God's family meeting around the things that matter most to us.
Each week there's sung worship, Bible-based preaching and the chance to take communion together. We also make space for prayer - both together as a congregation and individually at the end of the service.
About communion. Communion is a simple act of remembrance - we share bread and wine as a way of proclaiming the death and resurrection of Jesus. At Redeemer, individual portions of bread and wine are available to collect and take back to your seat. Gluten free and non-alcoholic options are available. We warmly invite all who trust in Jesus to take part. If you're still exploring faith, you're very welcome to remain seated - no one will think anything of it.
Children are fully part of our Sunday community. They begin the service with everyone else before going to their own age-specific groups. We love being a church where all generations worship together.
We meet every Sunday at St Chad's Parish Centre, Otley Road, Headingley, LS16 5JT.
From September 2026, we have two gatherings:
-
4pm gathering (4.00–5.30pm) - includes all children's ministry for under 11s.
-
6.30pm gathering (6.30–8.00pm) - Redeemer Youth (Years 7–11) runs during this gathering.
Fellowship hour (5.30–6.30pm) - between the two gatherings we host a fellowship hour with refreshments and the chance to connect. Everyone is welcome to stay after the 4pm gathering or arrive early for the 6.30pm.
